Strategy client success stories
-
Business Strategy Case Study
We worked with a client that is restructuring its business and considering entering new market segments. They wanted advice on the competitor products and price benchmarks in different segments of the market. We combined this with an analysis of options for a new business organisational structure and the likely competitive positioning of the client’s business in the market.
-
Market Entry Case Study
A South African-based client was considering an expansion into other markets in the region. We analysed the market risks and opportunities in every country in Africa and developed a framework to analyse their options for entering new markets. We worked with the client to go through these options and developed a strategy which was presented to the company’s board of directors.
-
Regulatory Strategy Case Study
Our client is a water and sewerage company in the UK. As part of the periodic regulatory review, Ofwat requires companies to analyse the impact of changes to tariffs on the affordability of the services to their customers. This involved a detailed modelling exercise carried out at a geographically disaggregated level (MSOA). Our modelling approach gave our client the flexibility to examine different scenarios and analyse how possible changes to the design of support packages would impact water affordability.
